harvest1I am in the midst of time and every countertop in my kitchen is covered with tomatoes, onions, garlic, peppers, broccoli, eggplant, tomatillos, zucchini, corn, basil, cucumbers, beans and more.  I am canning and drying and braiding like crazy to keep up with the abundance of my garden.  Last week was Lammas, the halfway point between the solstice and fall equinox.  The days are noticeably shorter already as the season begins to wane and I am like a squirrel storing up nuts for the winter.  I acknowledge that I am slacking on posting on this blog due to the garden bounty, yet promise to get back to the naturopathic medical focus soon!
