NaturopathicMedicineWeek
WELLNESS CHALLENGE #1:
EAT BREAKFAST

In honor of the first-ever nationally-declared Naturopathic Medicine Week, I am going to invite you to join me in celebrating with a series of wellness challenges throughout the week.

Today’s Challenge: Let’s start out the week with the best way to start out the day – Breakfast! This is the most commonly skipped meal that I discover when doing intakes with new patients. These are usually individuals who are fatigued, crave sugar and rely on caffeine to carry them through the first half of their day. Amazingly, when the coffee is removed and a high protein breakfast is introduced, energy level goes up and sugar cravings go down!
